- Nitoproof 600PF is a single component pitch free PU based
- liquid polyurethane. It cures by reaction with atmospheric
- moisture to form a tough, elastomeric, waterproof membrane.
- Nitoproof 600PF is designed for use on horizontal and vertical
- surfaces, covered by a protective screed or render.

- For further information please contact Fosroc
- The liquid applied, elastomeric waterproofi ng membrane, where
- shown on the drawings, shall be made of hydrocarbon free
- polyurethane. The membrane when cured shall be capable of
- an extension of not less than 400%. Its tensile strength shall
- exceed 1.9 N/mm2 and the water vapour transmissions shall
- be less than 1g/m2/24 hour. It shall be used in accordance
- with the methods given in the manufacturer’s data sheet.
- Application instructions
- Preparation
- All surfaces to be waterproofed should be clean, sound
- and dry. Priming for good quality, dense concrete is
- not necessary. For absorbent surfaces such as porous
- concrete a mixture of 1 part Nitoproof 600PF
- and 1 part of Nitoflor Sol is used to seal the surface.
- Cracks
- Shrinkage and non-moving cracks should be pre-treated with not
- less than 1.5 mm coating of Nitoproof 600PF extending 75mm
- either side of the crack. Allow to cure before general application.
- Right Angle Bends
- All critical right angle bends must have a minimum 25 x 25mm
- angle fi llet installed prior to application of Nitoproof 600PF. All
- angle joints, protrusions and stress points should be pretreated
- with heavy application of Nitoproof 600PF extending 50 -100mm
- either side of the detail. Any pretreated areas must be cured
- overnight before general application of the membrane.

- Lokfix E75 is a two-component Epoxy anchoring material,

- Application instructions
- Surface Preparation:
- The object of the surface preparation is to achieve a clean
- sound surface with a good mechanical key. All substrates
- should be cleaned and free of dust, plaster, oil, paint, grease,
- corrosion deposits, and any other deleterious substances.
- Laitence should be removed by mechanical means. Smooth
- substrates must be mechanically roughened e.g. by scabbling,
- needle gun or grit blasting to provide an adequate key.
- Corroded reinforcing steel should be exposed around its full
- circumference and cleaned to remove all loose scale and corrosion
- deposits. It is always preferably to clean the steel to a
- bright condition. Use of emery cloth, grit or sand blasting is
- recommended.
- Priming
- Reinforcing steel must be primed with Nitozinc Primer immediately
- after cleaning. The concrete substrate should be thoroughly
- dampened with water and any excess water removed
- before being primed by thoroughly scrubbing in a slurry coat of
- 1 volume Nitbond SBR to 1 volume water to 3 volumes fresh
- cement.

Thioflex 600 is particularly recommended for use in high-rise buildings and other applications where access for subsequent maintenance will be difficult and the risk of early movement failure must be minimised. It is also suitable for sealing joints in brickwork, retaining walls, basements and subways. Thioflex 600 pouring grade is recommended for initial sealing of expansion joints and stress relief joints in floors and sealing other horizontal surfaces. Design criteria Thioflex 600 may be applied to joints between 5 and 50 mm wide. Joints which are expected to experience cyclic movements should be designed to an optimum width : depth ratio of 2:1, subject to the overriding recommended minimum sealant depths set out below: 5 mm for metals, glass and other non-porous surfaces; 10 mm for all porous surfaces; 20 mm for trafficked joints and those subject to hydrostatic pressures. - Uses
- For the fast and permanent reinstatement of concrete, particularly where high strength, abrasion-resistance and resistance to chemicals is required. The product is designed for horizontal use but can be applied vertically, although generally in thinner sections. It is ideally suited for acid tanks, sea walls, industrial floors and for use as a bedding mortar. Nitomortar S can be used for emergency repairs where fast strength gain is important. When properly compacted, the mortar is highly impermeable.

- Nitomortar S is based on high quality solvent-free epoxy resin system. The special silica aggregates provide high strength and excellent abrasion resistance. Nitomortar S is a three-component material supplied in pre-weighed quantities ready for on-site mixing and use.

- Design criteria
- Nitomortar S can be applied in section up to 50 mm thickness in horizontal locations and 12 mm in vertical locations in a single application without the use of formwork. The material should not be applied at less than 5 mm thickness. Greater thicknesses than those specified above can be achieved by application of subsequent layers. Larger areas should be applied in a ‘chequerboard’ fashion. Consult the local Fosroc office for further information.

- Conplast SP430 G8 is based on Sulphonated Napthalene

- to produce high quality concrete of reduced permeability.

- Dosage
- The optimum dosage is best determined by site trials with the
- concrete mix which enables the eff ects of workability, strength

- the range of 0.6 - 2% by weight of cement
