- Description Dr. Fixit Fevimate TG is a fine powder consisting of portland cement, specially selected polymer, properly selected & graded fine fillers, additives and inorganic chemicals. It is used for grouting of tiles, stones, marble joints & edges because it has water repellency properties, excellent adhesion (high bonding strength), soft consistency, workability and seals joint permanently. It is non-shrinking, non-toxic and odourless grout used for sealing of swimming pool & water tank joints as well. Standard Compliance / Specification Meets the requirements of ISO 13007 ; IS 15477; BS EN 13888:2002 standards Areas of Application } Dr. Fixit Fevimate TG is used for grouting of ceramic tiles, marbles, natural stones and edges. } Specially formulated for wet or submerged grouting applications such as swimming pool, bathrooms, toilets, fountains and kitchen areas. } It can be used for external and internal areas. } It is used in residential and commercial areas. } Application upto joint width of 5mm. } It is excellent for highly glazed tiles to give a smooth and watertight joints which when set will be both water and mould resistant. Features & Benefits } Aesthetics – Available in two shades. } Easy to use – Easily to mix with water and forms soft consistency paste which is easy to fill the joints. } Shrinkage & cracking - Avoids cracks formation in the joints and also there is negligible shrinkage. } Service Temperature - Specially formulated for temperature range of 5 – 120°C. } Water resistant – Excellent water-resistance making it beneficial for application in areas immersed under water. } Durability & UV resistant - Excellent UV resistance & durability enables the product use for exterior application. } High Strength & abrasion resistant – High strength & abrasion resistance properties makes it suitable for grouting of toilets & bathrooms. Method of Application 1 Surface Preparation } Surface must be cleaned and should be free from dirt, cured tile adhesive. Remove dust with wire brush & by air blower. } For exterior grouting application, wet the tiles prior to applying Dr. Fixit Fevimate TG 2 Mixing } Add the grout powder to the mixing water (w:p ratio – 1 : 2.5 by volume) and mix with slow speed drill (250-300 rpm) to a soft & smooth consistency paste. } If the grout mortar has become too stiff to work, it should be discarded and a new batch should be prepared. Dr. Fixit Fevimate TG ONE PACK WATER RESISTANT TILE GROUT Dr. Fixit Fevimate TG tile fixing range 3 Application } Apply to the tile joints with squeegee, spatula or putty blade. After application flush the surface of tile using a hard rubber float, working diagonally across the grout joints to fill and compact the joints. All excess grout should be removed with the same rubber float without any delay. } Lesser the quantity of grout left on the face of the tiles while application, the final cleaning will be easier. } However, it is important to allow the grout to set in the joint and to let it acquire its initial set before any further cleaning. After the initial set of the grout, clean the tile surface with a pad of cheesecloth or towel dampened with minimum quantity of clean and cool water. Rub in a circular motion to further compact the grout. } The remaining surface grout on the tile can also be cleaned at this time. Scrubbing pad fastened to a float works very well to remove grout from the porous tiles. } Rebuff the tile surface and grout within 1-2 hours to remove all weep water and grout residue from the surface, which helps to reduce the efflorescence and to control colour variation.

- Uses
- Nitotile GPX is a cementitious based high quality tile adhesive
- available in both Grey & White colour, for the permanent fi xing
- of ceramic, glass mosaic, vitrifi ed tiles, all stones dense and
- large dimension (> 300mm x 300mm) having porosity less than
- or equal to 3% for both internal & external application of tiles
- for wet area, dry area & submerged conditions.
- It is suitable for fi xing tiles of size upto 600mm x 600mm and
- bed thickness upto 6mm and can be extended upto 12mm
- thickness in a area of limited extent.
- Note:
- 1. It is not suitable for application on to gypsum plaster, paint
- or metal, and for large format tile applications of >600mm x
- 600mm.
- 2. When used on AAC blocks , it is recommended to have cementitious
- rendering prior to application of adhesive or higher
- version of tile adhesives i.e Nitotile MPA Shall be used.

- Description
- Nitotile GPX cementitious powder is available in Grey & White
- Fosroc offers a comprehensive technical support service to
- specifi ers, end users and contractors. It is also able to off er
- on-site technical assistance, an AutoCAD facility and dedicated
- specifi cation assistance in locations all over the world.
- Instructions for use
- Surface preparation
- All surfaces must be sound and thoroughly clean before
- Nitotile GPX is applied. All traces of grease or oil must be
- removed with a chemical degreaser. All loose particles of
- mortar, old wallpaper, paint etc. must be physically removed.
- Make sure the substrate is fl at and in sound conditions to
- achieve uniform thickness & coverage. If level variation on
- fl oor or wall is more than an average 12 mm ( Excluding intentional),
- surface preparation as required to bring the surface
- true to plumb level shall be taken up with appropriate material
- Saturate the surface thoroughly and remove excess water
- before the application of Nitotile GPX.
- For porous substrates, it is recommended to use suitable
- primer.
- Surfaces
- Nitotile GPX can be applied directly on concrete, cement
- screeds, & cement plaster. Special attention must be given
- to new construction prior to commencing tiling. Tiles should
- not be placed on concrete or brickwork until all shrinkage
- movement has taken place.
- Mixing
- Nitotile GPX should be mixed with clear potable water in the
- water powder ratio of 0.25 to 0.28. A slow speed drill fi tted
- with a mixing paddle is recommended for mixing. Add powder
- to water and mix until a uniform, lump-free consistency is
- achieved. The total quantitiy of water may be slightly adjusted
- to achieve the required consistency.
